President Barack Obama's campaign organization, Obama for America, announced today that it will be morphing into a new organization under the same acronym. It will be called Organizing for Action with the goal of building on the momentum from 2012 and expanding it to future elections (2014, 2016, etc) that require grassroots support. It is widely accepted that the fundamental reason Barack Obama defeated Republican challenger Mitt Romney was the strong grassroots structure he had built on from 2008.
