Subway Restaurants is apologizing today after a user on Facebook outed their little secret about the famous $5 Footlong Sandwiches. They weren't really a footlong. Australian Matt Corby posted a series of photos on his Facebook that called into question the validity of Subway's claim that his sandwich was a footlong. He took a measuring tape, laid it out on the table and proceeded to point out that it was a mere 11 inches, and not twelve. Only in America right? Well needless to say millions saw the photos as they quickly became viral and Subway was forced to respond. Now they're facing two lawsuits over the incident. Cheaters!
