The sister of Comedy Central host Stephen Colbert, who plays a faux conservative on The Colbert Report, will declare herself a candidate in the South Carolina Special Election to fill representative Tim Scott's open House seat. Colbert likely will face Republican governor Mark Sanford, who resigned from his second term has governor in 2009 after disappearing to Argentina with his mistress.
