"Spiderman" Saves 8 Year Old

An autistic 8 year old boy in Thailand was rescued today after "Spider-man" came to his rescue. Thai firefighter Somchai Yoosabai. He put on the spider-man costume to rescue the boy who apparently loved superheroes. The boy climbed onto the third story balcony and was dangling his legs because he was scared on his first day of school. 

For hours the boy's mother and teacher attempted to coax him down, but to no avail. That's when Somchai was called in. As a plan was being crated Somchai overheard the boy's mother say that he loved superheroes, especially Spider-man. Upon seeing Somchai the boy teared up and began walking towards him. 

"I told him Spider-Man is here to save you. No monster will hurt you now," Somchai said. "Then I told him to walk slowly toward me. I was very nervous that he might have slipped if he got too excited and ran."
